Sarah Niven

‘BORDERLINE’ Focusing her work predominantly around themes of mental health, Sarah uses her practise as a way of expressing herself and providing an emotional insight into life affected by mental illness. In particular, ‘BORDERLINE’ addresses the daily struggles that Sarah and others face living with Borderline Personality Disorder and aims to dispel the negative stigma; giving people the opportunity to experience what it is like inside the Borderline brain. “I try so hard to live a normal life, to think like everybody else and have normal relationships. But it all comes back to the way my mind is made. I am not a monster. I am borderline.” Sarah Niven
