The Plague Dogs

Inspired by the natural world, Megan’s practice has developed from her love of storyboarding. Working within narrative illustration, Megan uses tonal mark making to create atmosphere, the illusion of movement and to put life into her drawings. With an interest in character, Megan’s most recent project was based on ‘The Plague Dogs’ by Richard Adams. Combining sequential and book illustration together in the form of a graphic novel, she focused on the dog voices of Rowf and Snitter, the harsh environments around them and their journey for freedom to provoke an emotionally raw response in her imagery.
