Lauren Butler

Dystopian future of humans and technology

Lauren is a multi-media based artist who works closely with the motive and emotional response
rather than visual precision. Her most recent work involves the ideas around technology and science
protruding the realms of natural beings and brings a frank, disturbing image of a society to come.
Inspired by ground breaking recent experiments on human and pig embryos, documented by articles
from National Geographic, Lauren aims to make sculptures and prints that have a presence to them
that unequivocally reflects the fear of an unescapable modern doom devised by man.
