Kaelin O’Hare

Kaelin’s practice investigates how elements of myth, natural history, and cultural history intersect to tell the story of a place. She is inspired by specific sites, such as Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, or Grand Canyon National Park, and through sequential narrative respond to associated myths as way of introduction to an environment’s non-fictional narratives. Culminating in book formats, the intention of these stories is to engage young and adult audiences with the natural world and, in doing so, promote support for organisations that protect it.
