This project aims to bring awareness to Charles Bonnet Syndrome, which is when visual hallucinations occur due to sight loss. Hallucinations from Charles Bonnet Syndrome (CBS) can be frightening, especially if you don’t know what CBS is, so awareness of it is important! Emily created engaging and lively illustrations to make the information intriguing and accessible. The work is shown as a redesigned macular society leaflet and an interactive box with acrylic slides showing examples of the hallucinations. Emily thanks those who helped with gathering research including Macular Society, Kat Da Silva Morgan, Judith Potts and Dorothy Truswell.
