Elysia’s practice is evolved around exploring site-specific locations. Often being immersed within the landscape, this has enabled her to explore reportage as a way of documenting throughout her journey. Taking the sketches back into the studios helps to inform the printmaking processes used as the final prints. The processes used within her work are a mixture of silkscreen print, collagraph print, soft ground etching and aquatint. She focuses on the human impact within these sites, looking at structures, pylons and fencing, which are taken into collagraph print to depict tension of these man made interventions.
