“Close the door”

This work explores the relationship of an artist with herself and the playful exploration of personality through the medium of film.

“Close the door” revolves around the artists love for 19c portraiture, her experience of play and self discovery as an only child, and how that play has never really left her.

The film lets people in to the most intimate, unsociable aspect

of the artists life, and exposes them to the weird compulsive behaviour that even she  can only experience in her most private 3am as if watching though a crack in the door.
