Smartphones paired with social media photography in the present-day
Our society has become increasingly visual, sharing on-average 1.8 billion digital images per day, but as vividly optical as our lives have become, could we be losing out on some of the moments happening right in front of our eyes?
We used to take photos on special occasions, when we travelled and as new parents. Now, taking photos has become part of a large number of people’s daily routine, documenting our lives and sharing them with the world. Through collages, Christie aims to make people aware of the number of duplicates in photography which are seen on social media sites today.
