I produced this series of dry point etching plates as a demonstration of the intense reality of suffering from sleep paralysis, a narcoleptic sleep disorder thought to be effecting 1 in 3 people at least once during a lifetime. The imagery I have created re-enacts the terror and disconnection associated with experiencing a ‘night-terror’.

My work is best seen through mobile phone torches as projected shadows on the wall behind.
